SKLADA is a special space having emerged as a result of a long journey that began back in 1992. Located in an old factory building in the centre of Sofia, whose industrial context has been intentionally preserved, SKLADA promotes a creative atmosphere and caters for its discoveries.

Here objects expressing the fragile balance between art and functionality, emotion and rationality, and industry and craft tell their stories. Their nature – edgy, quirky and elegant – comes alive in the sincere and authentic aesthetic of this space. SKLADA exhibits a selection of furniture – lighting, home products, decorative and utilitarian objects, talking of the magic of the creative process through texture, colour and shape. They all bear that artistic concept of timelessness that helps us turn to everlasting beauty.

At SKLADA, you will be greeted by a creative team able to spot moments, trends and brands with sensitivity to each and every detail, so as to ensure the best interior solutions. Always the result of research and exploration, these solutions are prepared by us in collaboration with our partners.

Over a cup of Italian coffee, at SKLADA you are going to find information about objects and services, as well as advice on your project. Our individual approach and attention allow us to respond to your specific needs and requirements.

We believe that our customers are curious and searching individuals with strong identities. From our first meeting on, we strive to learn more and to work through dialogue in order to create captivating and functional spaces that are both sources of inspiration and storytellers about their own inhabitants.

Layla Jabbar - sales executive

Layla Jabbar - sales executive

In addition to food and sunshine, in Milan and Barcelona Layla devoted herself to the study of interior design. Somewhere there, she developed the conviction that aesthetic choices are an expression of our innermost quests, and this deepened her curiosity in people. Professionally, this interest led to the study of Marketing and Communication and Service Design.

At SKLADA, Layla works daily with our customers and partners on interior and decoration projects.

Layla enjoys short city breaks around Europe, finds dogs a great laugh, and her small pleasure is every cup of aromatic latte.

Plamen Chonkov - project designer

Plamen Chonkov - project designer

As a child, Plamen made his own toys. He was not happy just imagining things, but wanted to make them real. As a grown-up boy, he managed to keep his dream of making beautiful objects. He carefully observed their coming to life from raw materials – wood, metal, glass and fabric, - and yearned to get to know the full process to the tiniest detail, so that everything could be perfect.

Since 1996, he has committed to designing, constructing and producing furniture, and since 2002 – to selling it, along with lighting and accessories, as part of interior design projects.

Plamen loves film, music and overall anything that can affect the senses, and he hopes to some day have the chance to fulfil his childhood dream – to be, at least for a little while, part of a special effects and make-up workshop for a science fiction film.
